What is "The Southern Groove"? It is a feel, style, and way of playing that only comes from living in the south. It comes from being raised in a small town and on the beach where you aren't in a hurry, and understand a slower way of life. This translates into a feel and style that's a little laid back and sits perfectly in the music.

Between teaching students, being a student myself and recording, I decided to lay low for a bit to work on projects I want to do. I have been studying with Daniel Glass for the last year and it has proven to be a great idea. I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons and they have spawned new ideas that I have started to put together. It may be a long journey but I know it will be worth it.
1.1.2019-In other news I have rejoined with Angie Lynn Carter . Our first show with Lee Roy Parnell at Mad Life was a great sold out show. More are on the books! Next is 3/30/2019 at Crimson Moon.
12.1.2017-Very happy to announce that I have officially become a Remo artist!
If you need drum tracks please let me know! I am also engineering for other drummers. This will be by referral only right now.
